Description:
This wonderful species tulip has gray-green leaves and bears star-shaped yellow flowers, tinged red/purple outside. Height 10-12 inches.
Notes:
A must for the spring alpine/rock garden. Growing tulips from seed is not as difficult as it sounds, although it may take several years to produce flowers.
Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow species tulip seeds in autumn in a coldframe or cold greenhouse. Grow in well-drained soil.
