Description:
This erect perennial has lance-shaped drak green leaves and bears dark pink flowers with sparse yellow beards in late summer. Height 24 inches; spread 12 inches.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in early spring. Grow on in deep, fertile moist soil in an open site in partial shade or sun. Tolerates heavy clay soil. Benefits from a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost in mid spring.
