Description:
This evergreen hardy perennial is a candelabra type primula, bearing salverform flowers in three to six whorls on stems to 3 feet tall. Leaves are dark green and flowers are rose-purple to magenta, with a golden eye. Suits a pond or streamside, or bog garden.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in an open frame in late winter or early spring. Grow in deep, humusy moist neutral to acidic loam in partial shade, or in more sun if soil is kept moist.
