Description:
Lindelofia longiflora is a clump-forming hardy perennial from the western Himalayas. Intense purple-blue flowers are borne in sprays on 60 cm stalks with long dark green leaves.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. The seeds require cold stratification to germinate. Surface sow seeds on seed compost, cover with grit and keep in a shaded cold-frame. Germination takes 2-4 weeks, but can be erratic. Grow on in humus-rich, moisture retentive soil in partial shade. Will tolerate full sun if in moist soil.
