Description:
This upright herbaceous perennial has lance-shaped, aromatic toothed leaves and bears purple flower spikes from June to September. The flowers are attractive to bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. Height 2-4 feet; spread 1-3 feet.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in the spring. Plant out when night temperatures do not drop much below 10ºC(50ºF). Grow on in neutral to alkaline soil with good drainage in full sun. Drought-tolerant once established.
