Wispy plants produce a series of yellow to orange cosmos flowers throughout the summer and well into the autumn. These plants can grow to a meter (3 feet) in height, but usually less in most gardens. Although native to subtropical Mexico, these annual flowers will do well anywhere they get enough sun, moisture and good soil.

The genus Cosmos is now in the family Compositae.

For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in situ, or start seeds in pots in spring. Grow on in any good garden soil with good drainage in full sun.

Harvest Date: Friday 15 August, 2014
