Description:
This small to medium sized tree covers itself in pink blooms up to 3/4 of an inch in size in the spring. The rich red berries persist well into the winter, providing a feast for the eyes, and later for the birds. Height/spread 25 feet.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seeds in a container in a cold frame and maintain light even moisture for up to 18 months. Gibberellic acid treatment will enhance germination rates. Allow exposure to the cold, but protect from temperatures below -5°C. Grow on in any good garden soil in full sun. Offer protection from drying winter winds or extreme dry conditions in the summer.
