Description:
This rosette-forming, biennial or short-lived perennial taprooted plant has heart-shaped basal leaves and bears branched flowers consisting of cylindrical umbels, initially pale green, then steel-blue with silvery gray bracts. Height 3 feet.
Notes:
This is a beautiful plant for the mixed border or the cutting garden. The flowers dry superbly.
Cultivation:
