Description:
This rosette-forming deciduous perennial has spoon-shaped, scalloped light green leaves and bears up to 6 whorls of up to 25 salverform crimson flowers in spring. Height and spread 18 inches.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in an open frame in late winter or early spring. Grow on in any moderately fertile moist soil in light shade. Tolerates sun if soil is kept consistently moist. Prefers a neutral to acidic loam or peaty soil.
