Description:
Perennial plant with upright arching stems to 50cm with shiny green leaves. Spreads rapidly by rhizomes. In summer flowers are tubular shaped in hanging bunches 4-8 cm long. The outside of the flower is washed with pink and the inside is spotted with maroon.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in spring. Normally grown in full sun. To avoid fading of the delicate flower colors, grow in light shade. Needs fertile but light soil that doesn't dry out but isn't soggy. Divide clumps in fall or spring.
