Description:
This deciduous perennial spreads by rhizomes and has 2-ternate leaves. In late spring, wiry leafless stems bear loose panicles of white flowers with reflexed petals. Spread is 16 inches. Makes a nice groundcover for a woodland or rock garden.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame as soon as ripe. Grow in moderately-fertile, humusy moist but well-drained soil in part shade.
