Description:
This annual, a favourite for Victorian gardeners, adds a delicate touch to almost any planting scheme. Sky-blue flowers surrounded by a ruff of foliage are followed by attractive seed pods. The seed pods are useful for dried arrangements of 'Immortals'. Height 20 inches; spread 9 inches.

Notes:
The seeds of Nigella damascena seeds are NOT edible. If you're looking for edible Nigella seeds, you will need to grow Nigella sativa.

Cultivation:
For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed where it will grow in mid-spring or autumn. Provide protection in winter for autumn-sown plants. Grow in any well-drained garden soil in full sun.
