Description: Evergreen perennial, 30 cm. high by 25 cm. wide, with flat rosettes of fleshy dark green leaves that vary in shape. From spring to summer, produces compact panicles of open funnel-shaped flowers, usually pinkish purple, sometimes white, cream, yellow or apricot.
Cultivation: For maximum freshness, please keep seed refrigerated in its original packaging until it is time to plant. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn. Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, sharply drained, neutral to acidic soil in light shade. Protect from winter moisture.
